Picture Framing Brad Setter
A handy tool for picture framers and glaziers. It is used to set brads and glaziers points to secure glass or backings. It speeds up the job tremendously and eliminates the potential for damage by hammering. Simply lay the brad or point into position on the backing and squeeze the handles to draw the jaws together and drive the brad 'home'.
The Jaw Depth is 1 5/8 inches and adjusts to a maximum opening 3 3/4 inches (minimum opening 1/2 inch). The Jaw travel for driving is 1/2 inch. A rubber pad on the movable jaw prevents marring of the frame.
