Munktell CXD pHotontm TIMELOCKS are made from 80g/m2 pHotontm high purity 100% cotton unbuffered paper and have been designed to avoid the use of any adhesives, even those that are commonly thought of as safe. They are meant for the long term storage of the most precious and sensitive of photographic archive material such as microfiche masters, where the utmost caution has to be taken against degradation from contact with potentially harmful elements such as adhesives that may in time react with the enclosed material. Eliminating the gluing process makes pHotontm TIMELOCKS safer and better value than conventional envelopes.
