Surface embossing of lines or inlays of complimentary coloured boards can be done with ease. The unique Mat-cuttingworld Smart Manual stop spacers facilitate precisely calibrated double or triple mounts with ease. Component options include a circle and oval carriage for cutting mount board and glass. Also available as an option is the combination Mount Glass Sizer which can be attached to the end of the machine in moments. Mat-cuttingworld Smart Manual is now available in 3 sizes and CXD are pleased to announce the introduction of the new Museum size (48 x 72 inches) Mat-cuttingworld Smart Manual which has been especially designed for use within Museums and comes complete with pneumatic mount board clamps which is especially helpful when cutting extra large mounts. The pneumatic clamps hold heavy weight Museum or Conservation board more firmly than the manual clamps. Pneumatic clamps are also available on the 40 x 60 inch machine. The standard cutting bevel is a true 45° but other options include a 60° or 90° head, which is useful for making French mounts.
