Lascaux Low Pressure Tables, Suction Table
The Lascaux Low-pressure Table can be placed on any table or other even support and is an ideal working apparatus for paper and textiles restoration, for partial or complete cleaning, removal of planar distortions, lining, leaf-casting etc.
Standard Equipment, Three Sizes
Low-pressure table with bottom plate and water outlet, supporting aluminium grid and perforated aluminium sheet. The perfora-tions are 1 mm in diameter and positioned 2 mm apart. The vacuum meter and valve are mounted on the suction pump. In cases where large quantities of water or solvents are used, care should be taken to ensure that the table is emptied in time to prevent any liquid from entering the suction pump. To empty, disconnect the air hose from the table and slightly incline the table. The frame of all the types of table is 40 x 60 mm, in cross section
Fitting Vacuum Meter and Valve on the Table
On request, the vacuum meter and valve can be fitted directly on the table with a connection piece. This is especially recommended to enable the installation of the suction pump either in an adjacent room or as far as possible from the low-pressure table (a maximum of 20 metres of air hose can be used). This prevents undesired noise and provides proper hygiene in the work place.
