The SML2 Laminator is designed and manufactured to the highest standards for use by archivists and conservators and is capable of laminating a wide range of materials quickly and efficiently. The SML2 Laminator weighs 480kg and has two heated platens 100cm wide and 130cm long. The SML2 can laminate to a maximum size of W100cm x L130cm. The laminator has two, solid, steel rollers 110cm wide for consolidation of the laminate and automatic transfer to receiving tray. The SML2 Laminator has a solid state proportional temperature control adjustable from 0°C to 130° allowing the use of a wide range of laminating materials including Archibond, B-Fix, Acetate etc. The timer circuit adjustable from 1 - 100 seconds can be set automatically to open platens on completion. The platens are fully guarded to prevent operator injury and the SML2 is fitted with an automatic safety trip which operates if guards are not closed or the emergency button depressed.
