Pneumatic Paper Press

The Pneumatic Paper Press has a CO 2 , electro-welded, hollow, aluminium U profile frame and is therefore light and easy to move. The press block is operated by a double action air cylinder. There is a 5-way control block with speed regulators and silencers, an air pressure control unit with a pressure gauge for adjusting the pressure force, and a flexible air hose with quick release connection. The machine is designed for safety when operating and has simple push button controls, for both the upward and downward movement of the press. The downward movement of the press requires that the operator use both hands to avoid the possibility of accidents. The press surfaces are panelled in waterproof plywood. The Pneumatic Press is an established popular choice with conservators in the major archives and libraries throughout Europe especially those using the Leaf Casting machines.
