| ArchiPress machines are sturdy professional units designed to give reliable service throughout thousands of sealing operations. A sturdy metal base is topped by a heavy duty transparent plastic lid which allows the object being enclosed to be observed throughout the vacuum process. Even wet documents or books can be vacuum packed which makes the ArchiPress a handy machine to have around in flood disaster situations. Tests have proved that ArchiPress Pouches hold their vacuum for between 10 and 25 years with an under pressure of 100 mbar. The machines can also be connected to a gas cylinder so that the contents of the ArchiPress Pouches can be vacuum packed in a variety of gases instead of air. All machines have Soft Air and Sensor Control as standard. The Sensor Control means you can set a given percenage of vacuum e.g. It is possible to set the machine to a vacuum of only 40%. This function is also intended for use with the new Armacon-P de-acidification gaseous process specially developed for use with the Archipress system. The Soft Air Control, can be used on especially delicate items because the air can be drawn out of the chamber gently and slowly after vacuuming, so avoiding sudden shocks to the objects. |
