Example of Plastazote® Boxes
It may seem odd to make boxes using Plastazote® but CXD had the idea in 1992 and it has proved a successful way of solving a number of difficult problems for storing large items. When constructed into a box the Plastazote® creates a strong rigid and super light storage medium.
If required the Plastazote® can be lined with archival board but generally a box constructed from 30mm LD45 Plastazote® will need no extra support.
Boxes designed by CXD and made in this material have worked well for storing theatre models. Every box is designed and custom made to order. A choice of colours is available and they can be mixed if required for colour coding.
