pHlute™ is a lower cost board that is made to last and made to meet a price that makes available large scale acid free, long life storage that will not harm the items it encloses. All the papers used in its construction are acid free and lignin free meeting ISO and ANSI standards for permanent papers.
The outer liner is printed in a variety of colours to distinguish collections and enhance water resistance. pHlute™ will outlast standard fluted boards by many years but like all corrugated boards it will not offer the same level of protection against fire or water in a disaster situation as Premier Archival Boxboard- solid centre.
