Timecare Heritage 100% Cotton Museum Board

Designed for conservation this 100% Cotton Museum Board meets the highest standards of specification. It is laminated with EVA plasticiser-free adhesive which is more resistant to acid hydrolysis than normal PVA adhesives. It passes the silver tarnish test and is therefore suitable for all media including photographs. This board combines the utmost purity with excellent cutting and erasion properties. Surface absorption is appropriate for wash line mounts because of the special sizing applied to the paper.
For mounting certain types of photograph such as gelatine, albumen and dye transfer prints, which prefer a less alkaline environment, we offer TG Offwhite and Dull White in an unbuffered version of Timecare Heritage 100% Cotton Museum Board. The standard alkaline buffered board is available in Cream and White.
The new unbuffered Dull White shade of Timecare Heritage Museum board is designed to be a dirty dull white to blend with old photo albums or replace old mounts where a brighter colour would look too obviously new.
